Policies

General Policy

A valid credit card or debit card will be required for all reservations and must be presented at check-in, along with a government issued ID, to verify a customer’s identity and for incidentals incurred throughout the stay. We reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations where it appears that a customer has engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity. If you arrive after your scheduled arrival date or depart before your scheduled departure date, no refund will be provided. <br> Rates: Published rates are in US dollars and vary by season and weekday/weekend. Rates are based on double occupancy (4 person occupancy for our suites). Some rooms allow for extra guests at a rate of $15 per person, per night as long as the maximum occupancy for the room is not exceeded. Rates do not include 10% Vermont Room and Meal tax. <br> Minimum stay requirements can vary but typically include two-night minimum stays on weekends, holidays, foliage season and special events. Often we do have single nights available during these periods so please feel free to call to see if we can accommodate your specific lodging request.<br> Included in your rate is a full breakfast, free Wi-Fi, use of the facilities, hot tub, and daily housekeeping. <br>

Written Cancellation Policy

<br>Please read through the full cancellation policy to determine which policy applies to your travel dates. For travel dates that overlap multiple periods, the stricter policy applies. If your travel dates are not listed as a Peak Period, the Regular Season policy applies. <br> <b>REGULAR SEASON</b>: Reservations cancelled 15 or more days prior to arrival will receive a refund, less a 5% processing fee. Reservations cancelled between 1 and 14 days prior to arrival will receive a refund, less a 50% cancellation fee. Reservations cancelled within 24 hours of arrival will forfeit the full reservation amount. <br> <b>PEAK PERIODS*</b>: Reservations cancelled 30 or more days prior to arrival will receive a refund, less a 5% processing fee. Reservations cancelled between 1 and 29 days prior to arrival will receive a refund, less a 50% cancellation fee. Reservations cancelled within 24 hours of arrival will forfeit the full reservation amount. <br> *Travel dates containing 7/12/24 - 7/13/24, 9/20/24 - 10/20/24, 12/20/24 - 12/31/24, 1/17/25 - 1/19/25, 2/14/25 - 2/22/25, 9/19/25 - 10/18/25, 12/19/25 - 12/31/25

Written Deposit Policy

<br>The full cost of the reservation will be charged at the time of booking.

Check In

Check-in is between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm. If your arrival time is outside of these hours, please contact us on the day of your arrival to arrange for after-hours self-check-in or to see if an early check-in is possible.

Check Out

Check-out is at 11:00 am. Late check-outs may be possible depending on housekeeping requirements and should be arranged at least 24 hours before your departure.

Pets Policy

As much as we adore our furry friends, we do not allow pets. We would be happy to refer you to a local boarding service during your stay.

Other Policy

Smoking: In accordance with Vermont State Law, there is no smoking or vaping indoors, on the grounds near open windows, or on the hot tub deck when other guests are present. Please be courteous of others and dispose of ashtray contents in a sealed container. A $200 cleaning charge will be charged if evidence of smoking is found in the Inn. Lost and Found: We make every attempt to reconnect left behind items of value with their owners but for small items such as charging cables, tee shirts, etc., we cannot practically contact every guest. We do hold these items for at least 60 days before donating them to a local charity. If you find that you have inadvertently left an item behind please get in touch and we can ship it to you for the cost of the postage and packaging plus $15 to cover handling and transportation to the post office. An additional fee to expedite shipping may apply. These policies may change without notice.

Children

Children over 5 are welcome. Those under 5, please call. Certain rooms are better adapted to accommodating small children. Children under the age of 13 are not to be left alone at the inn or allowed in the hot tub without direct parent supervision. Please be respectful of our other guests with regard to noise and activities.
