General Policy

<b>April Construction Update: The Lodge at Spruce Peak outdoor pool will be closed April 6-20 for repairs. We apologize for this inconvenience.</b> <br> A valid credit card or debit card will be required for all reservations and must be presented at check-in, along with a government issued ID, to verify a customer’s identity and for incidentals incurred throughout the stay. We reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations where it appears that a customer has engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity. If you arrive after your scheduled arrival date or depart before your scheduled departure date, no refund will be provided. <br> Stowe Mountain Rentals provides towels, linens, soap, robes, cups, knives, forks, spoons, dishes, toilet paper, paper towels, and dish detergent. Other consumables are to be purchased by the Tenant.

Written Cancellation Policy

Please read through the full cancellation policy to determine which policy applies to your reservation.<br> <b>STUDIOS, ONE-, TWO- and THREE-BEDROOM SUITES</b>: Reservations cancelled 30 or more days prior to arrival will receive a refund, less a 5% processing fee. Reservations cancelled between 11 and 29 days prior to arrival will forfeit 50% of their reservation cost and will be refunded the remainder. Reservations cancelled 10 or less days prior to arrival will forfeit the full reservation cost.<br> <b> 4-BEDROOM & 5-BEDROOM MOUNTAIN CABINS, ONE SPRUCE PEAK, TREE HOUSE UNITS, </b>: Cancellations 30 or more days prior to arrival are refundable, less a 5% service charge. No refunds will be issued within 30 days of arrival, under any circumstances, unless the property is re-rented. In the event Agent can re-rent the Property to another renter for the same or more rental payment as provided in the Agreement, then the Agent will return to the Renter all payments made by Renter, less the 5% cancellation fee <br> <br>We do not offer credits at any time. We can, however, transfer your original dates to another person. There shall be no refunds of rents due to shortened stays or ruined expectations because of weather conditions. We strongly encourage purchasing travel insurance when booking.

Written Deposit Policy

The full cost of the reservation will be charged at the time of booking.

Check In

Check-in time starts at 4:00 p.m. Please check in at the front desk under your last name. We cannot guarantee early check-Ins. If your room is clean and ready before 4PM, we will text you and you will be able to check-in early.

Check Out

Check-out time is at 11:00 a.m.

Pets Policy

While we welcome dogs, not all of our rooms are pet-friendly. Please ensure you have booked a pet-friendly room; it's listed in the description, or ask if you are unsure. Any dogs found in a non-pet-friendly room will be fined $400 for the stay, plus any daily pet fees. <br> This is the Policy put forth by the Lodge at Spruce Peak relating to Dogs: They may not be left alone in the room at any time. Please contact our Alpine Concierge at (802-760-4796) in advance if you need assistance scheduling pet-sitting services. The Lodge at Spruce Peak is not liable for the care your pet receives from the provider. If The Lodge at Spruce Peak incurs any loss of business or is required to pay compensation to another guest due to noise complaints, those charges will be billed to your room or credit card on file. Please prevent your dog from barking or otherwise disturbing other guests. The maximum weight allowed is a total of 100 pounds. The maximum number of dogs permitted is two per room. All dogs must be on a leash at all times while on the hotel premises. Dogs are not permitted in the hotel restaurants or near the pool or pool deck. Other public areas, with the exception of arriving and departing through the main or upper lobbies. Please clean up after your dog. Complimentary biodegradable waste bags are provided for you at the Guest Reception. The “Dog Sanctuary” is the proper area for dog walking.

Other Policy

Please note reservations are not fully confirmed until deposit has been charged to your credit card. There is a delay in updates to availability for the reservations system. In the event the unit you attempted to reserve is no longer available for the dates you have requested, you will be contacted as soon as your request is received and alternate options and pricing will be provided to you.
