Policies

General Policy

A valid credit card or debit card will be required for all reservations and must be presented at check-in, along with a government issued ID, to verify a customer’s identity and for incidentals incurred throughout the stay. We reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations where it appears that a customer has engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity. Without prior notification and acknowledgement by the hotel, if you arrive after your scheduled arrival date or depart before your scheduled departure date, the change will be considered a cancellation and a refund will not be provided. To register for a room or suite, guests must be a minimum of 21 years of age; children traveling with parents must be a minimum of 16 years of age. We do not accept reservations with pets. Rates are per room, per night based on double occupancy. Payment in full is expected at time of booking. Each suite accommodates a maximum of 2 guests. We do not offer rollaway beds, cots, or pull-out sofa beds. THIS IS A NON-SMOKING/VAPING LODGE. Smoking and vaping is not permitted anywhere on the property. Guests choosing to disregard our non-smoking policy will be asked to leave without refund, and a $250 cleaning fee will be charged to the credit or debit card on file, as well as an extra night's charges, if necessary, in order to air the room to make it acceptable for incoming guests.

Written Cancellation Policy

<br><b>Cancellation Policy for reservations booked through StoweMeadows.com:</b><br> All reservations are charged in full at the time of booking. Should you have to change or cancel your reservation for any reason, we require at least 31 days' advance notice. With the required amount of notice, we will refund your deposit, less a 5% cancellation fee per room. For reservations cancelled within 31 days of your reserved arrival date, you will be charged for the full amount of the reserved stay. Because of our small size, cancellations affect us significantly, and we do not overbook. We must enforce our cancellation policy. If you are concerned about having to cancel for any reason, we recommend you purchase travel insurance through a third party.<br> <b>Cancellation Policy for reservations booked through GoStowe.com, Stowe.com, and Stowe Central Reservations:</b><br> Reservations cancelled 31 days or more prior to arrival will receive a refund, less a 5% processing fee. Cancellations made within 31 days of arrival will forfeit the full cost of their reservation.

Written Deposit Policy

<br>Upon making a reservation, 100% of the reservation amount, including any taxes and fees, will be charged to your credit or debit card to guarantee your reservation. Reservations are not held without a deposit.

Check In

Guests may check-in between 4:00 PM and 11:00PM. Requests for early check-in must be made before arrival. We are unable to offer a lobby waiting area or luggage storage prior to check-in. If you will be arriving later than 11:00 PM, please call ahead so we may explain our late check-in procedure. 802.888.0002.

Check Out

Check-out time on your day of departure is 12:00 pm (noon). Unauthorized late check-out (between Noon and 5PM) will incur a penalty in the amount of 50 percent of the daily room rate as a "late check-out" fee.

Pets Policy

We are unable to accommodate pets traveling with guests. Our property does have pets on the grounds - please notify us if you have pet allergies or concerns.

Children

Stowe Meadows is a couples' retreat. We do not accept reservations for guests under 16 years old. We are unable to offer accommodations for families traveling with children. Roll-away beds, cots, and pull-out couches are not available.
