Located on Paradox Bay on Lake Placid Paradox Lodge offers a unique lodging experience to its guests. There are two houses that are next to one another: the main lodge which is called Paradox has four guest rooms located on the second floor with stair access. The main floor consists of the living room with a gas fireplace. The Paradox guest rooms all have private bathrooms. The second lodge located to the left of Paradox is called the Cedar Lodge. The interior has been renovated with local cedar lumber throughout the building. The Cedar rooms are all king rooms with king beds, feather beds, jetted tubs, dual sinks, large European showers, refrigerators, irons and ironing boards. There are two rooms upstairs (stair access) which are called Sky View and Whitney. The downstairs rooms are called Jenkins and Pisgah. The ground floor rooms are slightly larger and both have gas fireplaces and decks. (The fireplaces are turned off from June 1st to September 1st.) There is free WI FI on the property. Three kayaks and one canoe are available for guest use at no charge on a first come first serve basis.

Policies

Written Cancellation Policy
Two weeks for full refund. After that your credit card will be charged unless we are able to sell the room. (We have a 60 day cancellation policy for holidays and events.) There is a $25 charge for reservations cancelled more than two weeks in advance and a $25 charge for changing reservations.
