Written Cancellation Policy

<p>To view our Cancellation Policy, please click <a href="https://www.thredbo.com.au/terms-conditions/conditions-for-thredbo-resort-centre-cancellation-policy/" target="_blank">here</a></p> If this booking is for the Thredbo Alpine Hotel please see their Cancellation Policy below; Accommodation cancellation policy; 1. In addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, the following specific terms also apply to the cancellation of bookings of Accommodation. 2. A full refund less $30 cancellation fee is payable for cancellations made: a. for winter accommodation bookings, 30 days or more prior to arrival; b. for summer accommodation bookings, 14 days or more prior to arrival. 3. If a cancellation is made within the periods specified in clause 7, refunds are calculated as follows: (100% of the fees paid for the portion of nights where the property or room associated to the booking is rebooked within the same date period to another customer) plus (50% of the fees paid for the portion of nights that remain un-booked) less ($30 cancellation fee) = refund amount payable to you. Additional terms for Accommodation bookings: 1. When valid, refunds will only be made to the person who made payment on the booking. 2. Refunds will not be given on no shows, or any portion of a package which is not used. 3. Failure to make final payment on the due date will also result in an automatic cancellation of the booking without notice and these cancellation conditions will also apply. When you are not entitled to a refund: 1. Without limiting any statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law that may otherwise apply, and subject to the conditions set out in this policy, you will not be entitled to a cancellation, refund, credit or exchange in the following circumstances: a. if you simply change your mind; b. if you do not comply with or breach any of the relevant Terms and Conditions that apply to the Resort Products/Services you have purchased from us and/or the Accommodation you have booked with us and the relevant product/service is cancelled as a result (for example, due to your unacceptable behaviour); c. if you engage in or attempt to engage in any unlawful conduct; d. due to business interruption, when any Resort facilities are not operating for any reason, including weather, safety or any other operational closure, restriction or limitation or as directed by our staff in their discretion, or any other circumstances outside our control; e. if you cannot use the Accommodation due to elective or cosmetic surgery, or due to an Injury or Medical Circumstance arising from alcohol or drug abuse; or f. due to any particular amount of snow.

Written Deposit Policy

SUMMER BOOKINGS: A deposit of 50% of the total cost of the booking, inclusive of all services (“Total Cost”), must be received at the time of the reservation being made before a reservation can be confirmed. Failure to do so will result in the reservation being automatically cancelled without notice. Payment of this deposit indicates your acceptance of Thredbo Resort Centre terms and conditions. Final payment of the remaining 50% of the Total Cost must be received no later than 30 days prior to the arrival date. Failure to make the final payment on time will result in the booking being automatically cancelled without notice. If the date on which the reservation is made or the date on which the deposit is otherwise due, is less than 30 day prior to the arrival date, immediate payment in full of the Total Cost is required at the time of making the reservation unless otherwise notified to you at the time the reservation is made. Deposits cannot be transferred between properties and will not be refunded or applied towards payments for any other properties. Special promotions may be subject to their own T's & C's and alternate deposit schedules. Final Payment for online bookings will automatically be taken from the credit card used to pay the booking deposit. This automatic payment will be taken on the due date of the final balance. WINTER BOOKINGS: A deposit of 50% of the total cost of the booking, inclusive of all services (“Total Cost”), must be received at the time of the reservation being made before a reservation can be confirmed. Failure to do so will result in the reservation being automatically cancelled without notice. Payment of this deposit indicates your acceptance of Thredbo Resort Centre terms and conditions. The second payment of 50% total booking cost must be received no later than 60 days following the date of booking. Final payment of the remaining amount must be received no later than 60 days prior to the arrival date. Failure to make the final payment on time will result in the booking being automatically cancelled without notice.

Security Deposits Security deposits may apply on selected properties. Funds must be available to hold on a credit card. Weather Conditions Under no circumstances can Thredbo Resort Centre or any of the property owners be held responsible for snow or weather conditions, nor can any holidays be cancelled other than in accordance with the cancellation policy detailed above. No holiday can be cancelled, altered or amended on the basis of weather conditions. Changes, Responsibility and Further All information in respect of goods and services offered, including prices, is subject to alteration or withdrawal without notice. Thredbo Resort Centre and all Independent Operators reserve the right to alter, amend or cancel all or any arrangements or prices in regard to accommodation, tours or packages. The right to alter prices referred to in the preceding paragraph applies until the Thredbo Resort Centre has received a deposit. Minimum length of stays may vary between properties. These minimum stay requirements may apply you will be notified of any such requirements at the time you make a reservation. Packages may not be available during certain periods and are subject to availability at all times. If you require any information about whether a particular property has GST included in its rates then please contact the Thredbo Resort Centre. Activities booked may be hazardous and involve risk to participants. Participants should carefully assess risks and their own fitness levels in choosing activities. No responsibility or liability is accepted or undertaken by Thredbo Resort Centre, its employees, agents or contractors or any Independent Operator, its employees, agents or contractors for any death, injury, accident, damage to personal property (including baggage) or any other matter arising from any act, omission or thing outside of their control. In addition to the terms and conditions set out above, any booking is subject to such further terms and conditions as advised at the time of booking or as may be displayed at the time of utilisation of the item or service. Any provision of, or the application of any provision of, these term and conditions which is void, illegal or unenforceable in any jurisdiction does not affect the validity, legality or enforceability of that provision in any other jurisdiction or of the remaining provisions in that or any other jurisdiction. Insurance The Thredbo Resort Centre always considers it wise and strongly recommends you obtain travel insurance. This insurance can protect you against loss of personal belongings, public liability & also against your need to cancel under certain conditions as indicated in your travel insurance brochure. Privacy The Thredbo Resort Centre (TRC) will not use your personal information for any reason other than for the purposes of TRC marketing to you from time to time. Your name and phone contact will be given to the property manager for arrival details. If you do not wish your personal information to be used for this purpose please contact TRC on 02 6459 4294.
