Written Cancellation Policy

<p>To view our Cancellation Policy, please click <a href="https://www.thredbo.com.au/terms-conditions/conditions-for-thredbo-resort-centre-cancellation-policy/" target="_blank">here</a></p> If this booking is for the Thredbo Alpine Hotel please see their Cancellation Policy below; Accommodation cancellation policy; 1. In addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, the following specific terms also apply to the cancellation of bookings of Accommodation. 2. A full refund less $30 cancellation fee is payable for cancellations made: a. for winter accommodation bookings, 30 days or more prior to arrival; b. for summer accommodation bookings, 14 days or more prior to arrival. 3. If a cancellation is made within the periods specified in clause 7, refunds are calculated as follows: (100% of the fees paid for the portion of nights where the property or room associated to the booking is rebooked within the same date period to another customer) plus (50% of the fees paid for the portion of nights that remain un-booked) less ($30 cancellation fee) = refund amount payable to you. Additional terms for Accommodation bookings: 1. When valid, refunds will only be made to the person who made payment on the booking. 2. Refunds will not be given on no shows, or any portion of a package which is not used. 3. Failure to make final payment on the due date will also result in an automatic cancellation of the booking without notice and these cancellation conditions will also apply. When you are not entitled to a refund: 1. Without limiting any statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law that may otherwise apply, and subject to the conditions set out in this policy, you will not be entitled to a cancellation, refund, credit or exchange in the following circumstances: a. if you simply change your mind; b. if you do not comply with or breach any of the relevant Terms and Conditions that apply to the Resort Products/Services you have purchased from us and/or the Accommodation you have booked with us and the relevant product/service is cancelled as a result (for example, due to your unacceptable behaviour); c. if you engage in or attempt to engage in any unlawful conduct; d. due to business interruption, when any Resort facilities are not operating for any reason, including weather, safety or any other operational closure, restriction or limitation or as directed by our staff in their discretion, or any other circumstances outside our control; e. if you cannot use the Accommodation due to elective or cosmetic surgery, or due to an Injury or Medical Circumstance arising from alcohol or drug abuse; or f. due to any particular amount of snow.

Written Deposit Policy

SUMMER BOOKINGS: A deposit of 50% of the total cost of the booking, inclusive of all services (“Total Cost”), must be received at the time of the reservation being made before a reservation can be confirmed. Failure to do so will result in the reservation being automatically cancelled without notice. Payment of this deposit indicates your acceptance of Thredbo Resort Centre terms and conditions. Final payment of the remaining 50% of the Total Cost must be received no later than 30 days prior to the arrival date. Failure to make the final payment on time will result in the booking being automatically cancelled without notice. If the date on which the reservation is made or the date on which the deposit is otherwise due, is less than 30 day prior to the arrival date, immediate payment in full of the Total Cost is required at the time of making the reservation unless otherwise notified to you at the time the reservation is made. Deposits cannot be transferred between properties and will not be refunded or applied towards payments for any other properties. Special promotions may be subject to their own T's & C's and alternate deposit schedules. Final Payment for online bookings will automatically be taken from the credit card used to pay the booking deposit. This automatic payment will be taken on the due date of the final balance. WINTER BOOKINGS: A deposit of 50% of the total cost of the booking, inclusive of all services (“Total Cost”), must be received at the time of the reservation being made before a reservation can be confirmed. Failure to do so will result in the reservation being automatically cancelled without notice. Payment of this deposit indicates your acceptance of Thredbo Resort Centre terms and conditions. The second payment of 50% total booking cost must be received no later than 60 days following the date of booking. Final payment of the remaining amount must be received no later than 60 days prior to the arrival date. Failure to make the final payment on time will result in the booking being automatically cancelled without notice.

Check In

Check in at Kasees is from 3pm, Summer and Winter. This includes parking in the driveway. Please advise of estimated time of arrival, especially if this is likely to be after 7pm.

Check in at Kasees is from 3pm. This includes parking in the driveway. Please advise of estimated time of arrival, especially if this is likely to be after 7pm. For those arriving by bus/shuttle, please tell us what time your bus arrives; you will be able to ‘store’ luggage in our top entrance if you arrive early. Note if your bus drops you at the Thredbo Information Centre, you can then take the village bus #2 up to Kasees. We have specific vehicle parking and bike storage details, conditions and restrictions: 1. https://www.kasees.com.au/features-and-galleries/our-thredbo-village-parking 2. https://www.kasees.com.au/about/bike-storage PLEASE NOTE that large dual cab utes including those with rear trays; vans; trailers; mini-buses or similarly long and large vehicles; and vehicles with rear bike racks are NOT, in most instances, able to park in the driveway. If this is the case on the day, after unloading you will be shown the options for free village car parking. ADDITIONAL PAYMENT will be requested from guests for: any damage to apartments and fittings, furnishings, equipment; damage to communal lodge areas; loss of apartment or ski/board keys or locks; any additional cleaning or maintenance required if an apartment is left in a dirty or damaged condition.

Pets Policy

No pets are allowed in Kosciuszko National Park. There is an exception for companion animals - please refer to the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service website.
